Prop Cable failure?

Noticed the lower sleeve at at the end of the prop control cable has separated where it joins the fixed part and there is several inches of exposed cable. I tried to insert an image but couldn't figure out "insert URL for image" message.
Can anyone help me?

I had the same problem. I disconnected the cable from the governor and slide a short piece of black reinforced fuel line type tubing over the end and then used two small SS hose clamps to hold the pieces together. Works fine.
