I am trying to picture your installation quandary as you describe it, as the little Facet cube pump is about as simple as it gets. I have 2 in my -4, one is in the tunnel beside the battery, and the other I have on the firewall plumbed in downstream of the gascolator, which I run continuously as my main fuel pump. I have an O320H2AD 160hp which has no engine driven pump. The Facets can be set up with whatever fitting you need on the inlet and outlet side, and mounted in just about any orientation.
