News reported but can?t confirm a RV 12 crashed at Loves field in lady lake Florida yesterday afternoon. One fatality.

Pilot info

I am sad to report that the pilot of yesterday?s RV12 accident in Florida was my close friend and former colleague Bill Phaneuf. Bill was an Air Force Col. and after his military career continued to work in aviation safety at United Airlines, The Air Line Pilots Association, an AvMet. He was a remarkable person who leaves a legacy of aviation safety improvement for all. He will be missed.
