Anyone ever broken a 90 degree fitting in the brake cylinders?

I was actually trying to back it out because I'm pretty sure I over tightened it but it snapped off. No threads showing, they are slightly recessed into the brake cylinder. Any ideas how to get it out or just order a new cylinder? If so let me know if you have an extra one lying around. Thanks

That looks like it could work, thanks. However, what if some small chips fall into the cylinder? I was thinking I could flush it since the top and bottom would still be open but I'm not sure exactly if that would even work. Anyone smarter than I know if its possible? Thanks

An easy-out is pretty much your only chance, short of drilling the broken piece out and chasing the threads with a tap. Don't worry about the chips- just flush it well with 5606 or whatever brake fluid you're using.

Easy-outs are relatively cheap. Use the biggest one you can as you don't want to break the easy-out in the hole.
