Cabin Top Interior Prime

Sanding and filling and sanding and filling.......

Getting close to priming the interior of the top. What have you used and would you recommend doing it same again or not?

Eventually will paint the areas not covered by the Aerosport rear overhead and overhead panels.

I used PPG single stage paint for all the interior. I painted only the forward part of the cabin top - and prep for that was a real PITA. For the rear cabin top I made a headliner using a marine grade foam back liner.

If I had to do it all over again I'd still paint the front part like the rest of the interior, but for the rear I'd go with one of the bed liner type paints. A neighbor finished his Lancair 4 cabin top with this and it came out great.
