Default FS: GTX-327

I have a newly-removed GTX-327. It was working great when removed for ADS-B install and looks new. Has tray and connector and backshell. $400 shipped CONUS.

Hey. Is there a way to comply with ADS-B 2020 mandate with any of these older A/C transponders?

Yes. All can support 2020 mandate for ADS-B "out" when paired with a number of UAT or 1090ES transmitters/recievers (have to do your homework here). However, the GTX 327 would be the preferred choice since it can have a direct digital link to control most ADS-B out boxes. The older analog models have to rely on the particular ADS-B unit's ability to sniff out their squawk code wirelessly. Plus, if you don't already have one, they are old with obsolete tube type radio chambers that begs the question to spend the time and effort on a new installation. In my opinion these legacy transponders are the best choice for UAT out (with anonymous capability when squawking VFR). At a great price point. However, if you need 1090ES for whatever reason (you fly above 18K feet or across the ocean) the new all-in-one transponders from the likes of Appareo, Sandia, Lynx or Garmin might be a better choice, albeit very much more expensive w/o anonymous capability.

Lots of bang for the buck with a used GTX 327.

Jim

I bought a used GTX 327 for $400.00 to replace my Narco AT150 (sorry Jesse, before you put yours up for sale) and will pair that with a uavionix UAt/safely gps from GRT at $1500. Total for ADSB in and out $1900.00.

I can send you some pics next week. It looks practically perfect. It was only installed (New I'm pretty sure) about a year or two ago, and only flew probably 100 hours max.

Hi Jesse,

What are you asking for the 320A, AT150 and KT76's? Do they have trays and connectors?
