Smoke System with Trombone exhaust

I want to install a smoke system from Marvin (smoke-system-helper.com) and his instructions say: "The ideal location is on the front cylinder but it is not mandatory to go there. The rear cylinders also work about 95 percent as good, SEE THE PHOTO. The idea is to make the oil pass thru as much of the exhaust pipe as possible . CAUTION: If you have 2 exhaust pipes like most airplanes, make sure that your smoke will come out of BOTH of them. Mount the injector BELOW any EGT probes."

But has anybody installed those injectors in a Vetterman trombone exhaust?

I am just nor sure where I should mount them. I think before the syphon would be a bad idea but maybe I am wrong?

Dennis, our A&P at 3J1 is doing an install on a RV8 now with the trombone exhaust. He put the injectors on the forward pipes, inboard, and below the EGT probes. We'll use 90* hose ends to plumb it when we do all the other hoses. Should look cool.
