Trying to sort out Latin America charts for a possible upcoming trip and it seems that Garmin doesn't really have coverage down there.

- Is Jepp the only choice?
- It sounds like I need a ChartView key? And it seems the only way to sort out things with Jepp is to call them? (Hello 1980's...)
- Are Jepp charts on the g3x similarly un-systemid-locked like the GTN Jepp charts? Asking for a friend...
- I hear that The G3X can't handle having both Jepp charts and Garmin charts on the system at the same time? So I'd have to buy US charts as well for it not to choke?
- Is there any reason to buy Jepp charts for a GTN-650? The 650 doesn't show the charts, so it's just the Navdata, which is supposedly 100% the same? Or is it also missing a bunch of bits in the Garmin version?
