G3X Red X's slow to disappear or never

I have a single screen G3X and when the battery switch is turned on about 30% of the time the screen "boots up" normally. The rest of the time it takes an inordinate amount of time for the RED X's to disappear and sometimes they never do. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

Do you have a "ADHRS Calibration" message on your PFD when this happens?

This sounds like it could be an installation issue, but there are a handful of checks we would want to walk through to verify. It is easier to go back and forth over email versus the forums.
