New Canopy

I am thinking about possibly purchasing a flying RV-9A (slider). One of the issues is that the canopy has some cracks in it. How hard is it to replace the plexiglass?
 
Tip up or slider? I purchased a 7 tip up and converted it to slider. Don't know if it's different or not, but I have a tip up canopy assembled I no longer need. If it will work on a 9, make me an offer.
