Hello everyone,
As I am wrapping up all the little details before I begin riveting my fuselage and I have run into an issue. There is not much of an edge distance at all on my F-724 (baggage area bulkhead) flange where it is match drilled to the floor. I noticed that several other builders have had this issue and have seen many potential fixes. Some suggest cutting the bulkhead so that only one rivet holds it in place, and I have read one that suggests fabricating an extension for the flange that will allow the proper edge distance.
I am curious how the majority of people dealt with this issue before I decide on a fix.
