Bugs and grease

Aircraft Spruce is out of Aeroshell 22 grease. What would be a good substitute to keep in the hangar? What manual grease gun do you like?
Any recommendations for a good product that will remove bugs from the leading edge?

Best product to remove bugs from leading edge is water! But you must remove them on the day of their demise. i.e. Never let a bug spend the night on your airplane.

Add some dish detergent to the water and apply with a towel and gentle elbow grease.

There, you did ask about grease. :)

Not that kind of grease. Haha. Want to keep some grease in the hangar. Aero she'll 22 was recommended but Aircraft Spruce says its on back order and don't know when they'll receive a supply. There are so many different greases to choose from. Don't know which would be the best for all around use.

Water doesn't stay long in that state in my woods. As soon as sun is up it melts. Might take couple hours before airborne again :D

Greasing the wheels and fork in the winter time is a challenge by itself. No advice on that :)
