When's the last time you tried your hand at the primary maneuvers that earned you a private pilot license?
It has been Forever since I have, but I thought it would be fun to give them a shot in my RV7A and let the CloudAhoy graphs tell me how well I can still do them.

I love ground reference maneuvers! I do eights on pylons all the time. My favorite in the RV was when I was back in El Paso, I would pylon turn around the moving freight trains out in the desert all the way back to our remote airport's downwind entry leg.

What's the trick to doing eights? Something about "If the point moves forward of the wing, move the stick forward", is that how to think of it when flying them? The whole pivotal altitude thing isn't really clear to me either, I have to admit.
