Garmin GSA28 problems

I have a -10 that I'm working on with a G3X touch system. The servos are 2 years old at least. First flight his week. The pitch servo gave me a short circuit to the trim wires. I had to bypass it. Then in flight the roll servo gave me a Servo Fault and I had no auto pilot at all. Resetting the "breaker" (on the VP-X) did nothing.

Any ideas? Is this a common problem with the Garmin servos?

Other than the recently acknowledged problem that Garmin has posted about, I am not aware of any additional known issues. The ones in my plane and I suspect hundreds of others have performed flawlessly. Garmin has tons of AP servo experience in the certified world. These servos have a deep heritage.

That's why I posted here at 10:30pm.

I updated the software and that seems to have fixed the hardware fault for now.
