Aileron hinge cover

Hi Folks, working on my RV6 Quickbuild and was wondering if there is supposed to be a cover or something, to cover the cutout in the aileron. Seems kind of weird to have a big gaping hole there but maybe its supposed to be that way.

Nope. That is the way it is. It also allows for a good visual during the preflight.
