What to do with that Vans crate.

Great platform for countersinking the spar flange.:p
 
When you get the finish kit, I used the lid for cutting my canopy.

When you're ready for the big cut, I set the canopy on the lid, then used some scrap wood and screwed in little blocks along the edges to hold in in place to it couldn't slide around or splay open. Worked like a charm.

Bookcase

Made a bookcase for the pilots lounge out of mine. Turned out great and love the repurpose of the material. Now it is a book case that has meaning.
 
Van's Wing Crate

I used the Van's Wing Crate to make an alodine tank from. Lined it with a poly sheet from the aviation aisle of Home Depot and fastened with screws around the top. Added a drain and plug at one corner. Wish I had done this before I started the empennage, the skins would have been much easier to alodine.
