I have noticed that if foreflight is running on my ipad when the GDL-39 is powered up, it will not create a working connection. FF shows the connext connection, but it is red and says no data. I have to close FF on the ipad and restart it to get a working connection.
It is a tad frustrating, as I keep forgetting to shut FF down before engine start and it is messing up my flight log data due to the reboot later when I realize the issue.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a way around it?
