RV-10 Seat Inquiry

Long time lurker, hopefully future builder, current dreamer.

I found this picture tagged RV-10 interior with seats with integrated seat belts.
Is this an RV-10?
Is this a product offered by someone?
Custom built?
Maybe retrofit an automotive seat?

Any ideas?

It stirred up a lot of emotions in people at the time it was published, but if you are an EAA member and are interested in reading what the designer thought about those seats (and many of the other modifications done on that airplane, do a search in the Sport Aviation archives for an article titled Homebuilder's Handbook: At What Price?

It appears Vans really doesn't want you changing any of their base design. They probably wouldn't be a fan of my airhorn..
