Default Oil Pressure Fittings and Transducer

1. I have the vans fuel transducer. Does it get NPT or Pipe Thread fittings?
2. What thread sealeant is recommend for the NPT fittings around the brake fittings and fuel fittings.
3. In the picture below is the port with the white arrow that goes to the transducer? What type of fitting in this port. My guess is NPT.

NPT is National pipe thread so NO. This a straight thread which requires an adapter and crush washer. your gauge and sender might come with the necessary adapter. BYW, this location is for the oil TEMP not pressure . The pressure port is a 1/8 pipe thread and located to the right near the r/upper motor mount. On some engines it is difficult to install with mount in place. Be sure to mount the pressure sender on the firewall not on the engine. run a hose to the sender.
