Removing 696 from Airgizmo

I recently purchased an RV-7 with a 696 panel mounted air gizmo. How in the heck does it come out. I have rolled the latch so that the 696 is tilted all the way out from the top and from the pictures I have found you should be able to pull it out from there. I feel like I am about to snap something. Is there a trick? No luck calling air gizmo...no answer.

Once you have it rolled all the way out, just keep firmly pulling the top out. It's a pretty hard snap. Pushing with your thumbs on the top of the dock frame and pulling with your fingers on the back of the 696 works well.

Wires all have slack.

All the wires have slack. I can see it is "hung up" on the fingers in the back. I guess I will pull harder.

A Good Tug

The locks on the Air Gizmo are tight, and a healthy tug is required. It also requires a healthy snap to plug it back in. Guess they didn?t want it flopping about in turbulence and it won?t.
