Engine mount differences

We are converting my 7A to a 7. With the engine (0-360 dynafocal) mounted on the new 7 mount it looks like two major differences between the two.

1. The 7 mount moved the engine about 0.5" further forward than the 7A mount. My conclusion on this is it offsets the reduced weight from the nose wheel and lack of tailwheel.
2. The 7A mount had more right thrust than the 7 mount. My conclusion is there is an aerodynamic reason for the right thrust with the additional side area of the nose wheel (P-factor, etc.)

Does anyone know if my conclusions are true? Anyone experience this before?

Thought I would ask here before calling the mother ship.
