Seems like half price. AFM8 is very pricy.

Anyone has experience with this tool?

Yes

I have one and it works well. Bought mine as a set off amazon that included the positioners and gauge.

Look on eBay for a AFM8 unit. I got mine there. You can get the positioners from the manufacturer directly for a reasonable price.

Chinese knock-offs and no MIL qualification. But great price and have to be better than the generic D-sub crimpers out there. JR Ready basically copied the DMC crimpers with cheaper materials and labor. As is the way of China

That being said I got the real mccoy, a new Daniels DMC-8 about three years ago for the same price on eBay or Amazon.

ebay AFM8

I got my AFM8 on ebay a few years back for about $100. Buy the positioners from DMC or from Stein.

a difficult decision indeed. Worst thing is to buy the half price one, and than again the full price
