I'm helping a 93 year old gentleman get his very nice RV-9A ready to sell. Due to health issues it hasn't flown in a while. I have a long list of to-do items but one is to drain the fuel from the tanks and flush the system to remove all old fuel. I am planning to 1)drain tanks completely, 2)remove and check/clean fuel filter, 3) put new fuel in both tanks and flush all lines all the way to the injectors.
My question is: is there anything else I should do such as use an additive of some sort to help ensure the system is clean?
