I purchased the canopy lock switch kit from Vans. Instructions say attach the jumper wire included to pin 12 slot on one D Sub and pin 27 slot on the other D sub. There were were wires already in both those slots. Checking continuity between the two...no continuity.
Next ran the switch wire to pin 8 on fuselage D sub and completed installation.
I have the conversion harnesses and Skyview. Everything on the plane functions properly. Why do the instruction say insert a jumper into slots where wires already exist if there is no continuity between these two pins.
Its Sunday. Can call Vans Monday, but really want to get it put back together today. Any suggestions?
