I'm thinking of picking up one of these radios for a diving trip.

This seems like a useful thing to pack on an a water crossing flight as well, in case you need to ditch. (At least that's what I'm telling myself to help justify the cost. One toy, two hobbies!).
I'm wondering if anyone here has packed this radio in their emergency kit, or something like it. Does there exist a similar radio for aviation purposes, which is waterproof and has a GPS transmit feature?
