I just bought a 6A in May. It is getting painted now. Sound like alot of fun, so count me in!

Right on - a celebration just for me and my fellow RV-6's!!!!

I had a great trip to Oshkosh this year - and now I have an excuse for Louise and Paul to take me again next year - take THAT Valkyrie!!

WHat a great time yesterday on the way home. Paul Was flying Tsam, Losuie was with me, and they were chatting as we crossed the Great Salt Lake. SUddenly, a new voice came on the radio asking "is that Mikey?" I was speechless, but Louise asked who was calling, and they said "It's Mikey's Dad!"

I guess Pop was flying the new RV-14 home to Van's from Wisconsin, and they were somewhere over Idaho. There was a nice chat about our respective flights, and Paul said he is going to go see Dad next week. I bet he takes Tsam.....but I get to go back to Oshkosh!!

Question 2 inch numbers

OK, 30 years...

What are the dates than make 2 inch registration numbers legal on a -6 and a -6A?

That exact date needs to come from Van's.----------------Scott?

Van's website is a little misleading on some dates. For example their website states that the -6, -6A, and the slider canopy all happened in 1986. That's not quite right. The -6A and slider fuselage kits didn't begin shipping until 1990.
