Default Bakersfield Annual Fly-in June 3rd

We always have a great time at our Annual EAA Chapter 71 fly-in but this year we would like to see more RV 12's show up. We have two rv-12's finished and flying in our chapter and three more in various stages of completion. And several members thinking about building one. Stop by and talk some "airplanes" I finished mine last September '16.

Oh, and Kern County's own Famous Bar B Q King, Doug Unruh, has agreed to personally take charge of the Bar B Q. He will be serving Tri Tip starting at around 11:00. Doug is a member of EAA for many years and loves to fly his Harmon Rocket.

We will have Young Eagles Flights, and raffle for some nice and some cheep stuff.

We will be at the Bakersfield Municipal Airport (L45) starting around 9:00. That is the airport on the south side of Bakersfield. Not to be confused with Bakersfield Meadows on the north side.

Flew in, ate and had a nice time.

The tri-tip was delicious!
