Backing RV-6A

Having trouble backing my recently punched RV6A;nose wheel binds

The nosewheel stays in line with the a/c, and it just binds...... Stops turning?

Or does the nosewheel swing and not let you push it straight back?

With the nose wheel in proper adjustment, I have been able to push my 6A into my HANGAR for the past 10 years without a tow bar....... No binding.
