Better Audio Jacks

I'm getting frustrated with flaky, poor quality, crappy plastic washer audio jacks. I've been researching insulated jacks from digikey/mouser. Ideally I'd prefer gold plated jacks... here's what I could find. Does anyone have their own recommendation?

Mic - 0.21"

Headset 0.25"

Thanks!

Switchcraft makes good stuff. Only possible downside to the nylon frame models is that the clamping force to hold the plug is quite a bit lower than the metal frame jacks; due to thinner stock used to make the contacts. Nylon threads can't be tightened as well as the metal ones, either.

FWIW, I've never had any problems when using good quality fiber shoulder washers and their metal jacks.

I've used both styles, in a/c and in other applications.

I installed LEMO jacks for my Bose A20 headset. Works great and gets power from the main bus.

I also have the standard jacks that came with the Dynon intercom for non-LEMO headsets. The phenolic washers hold up better.
