Anyone had an Electronics International tacho over read when cold? Operating on an IO360 one mag one elect mag. Over reads by 300 rpm when cold, when hot normal indications!

How is it wired? To the mag or an electic mag (which model btw)? This is what the manual says:

Bring the engine RPM up to 1500 and look for proper operation. A jumpy high RPM reading at this step may be cause by a higher than normal voltage output from a Bendix Mag. If this is the case, install the Bendix Isolators supplied in your R-1 package.
