Price Increase for the 2010 new year??

It seems that every year the prices go up a little bit on the kits so I am wondering if anyone has gotten any word on if they will and by how much. I know I will be ordering my wings just after the new year but I may just have to a little sooner. Any ideas??

I've always ordered the "next" kit before Jan 1 to avoid the price increase.

2 or 3 percent on a $6k purchase isn't "chump change" (at least for us builders of modest means)

I just need the FWF kit for my project. I assume that will also be subject to an increase.

I better scrape together another basket of money before the end of the year...

I can delete some stuff I already have: oil cooler, alternator, gascolator, PC 680 kit, engine mounts/bolts and both solenoids.

Does anybody have any idea how much of a discount I'll get deleting the above items from the FWF kit?

YIKES! I just looked at Van's web store price for the -9A FP FWF kit.

It went up $210 from the 2009 catalog price

That's 6%.

So much for trying to beat the annual price increase...

flyguy - Van's told me a few weeks ago (when I ordered my 8A fuse and wings to be shipped in Jan) that price increase is scheduled Feb 1. Hope that's still the case. Hawkeyestof

My "Plane Money" CD matures 12/21/09. I'll be sending a check for the fuselage and finish kit on the 22nd.
