bad vibes

Got a bad vibe I need to fix.

Running a Sensenich fixed metal prop on an O-360. Has been balanced and runs smoothly at normal operating rpm (2000-2700). At 1500-1700 I get a pretty sporty vibration that doesn't exist at any other rpm. In normal ops you don't really notice since you move thru that rpm range relatively quickly, but in IFR approach ops I find the need to be in/around that rpm range a fair amount. I'm not sure rebalancing for that rpm range is a good solution since so little time is spent operating in that range. I was thinking that reclocking the prop one station (and rebalance) might be a good way to approach.

Anyone else have any experience with this and a good place to start in resolving?
