magneto question

I have a question for the engine gurus out there. I have the opportunity to purchase two, brand new in the box magnetos for my 0-320 lyc. at a very good price. The question is that they are both impulse type magnetos. Can I use them for the right and left side? Or will I have to modify one so I have it on one side only. Seems logical that it would work for both sides, but not sure. Anybody?

No probs using a dual IC setup.. that's what I have on my engine. Just make sure you have all the required parts (spacers and *proper* IC gear).

It will take an extra spacer and you will have to put longer studs on the right side. Don
