Cutting Showplanes canopy

Now that I?ve sacrificed a goat to the fiberglass pin hole God I?m ready to cut the canopy. I wasn't expecting to be ready this weekend but here I am.

Question?


Do I need to finish the dash red line to the solid line for my first cut or do I cut along the base to the front?


I did the measurements from front center (on the redline) down the middle to 77? and around the sides to 72?. I?m guessing this first cut is just to get you in the ballpark?
