While wiring my pump and flaps should I ground near units or single point ground?

I ran individual ground wires back to the single point ground mounted on the firewall for the boost pump. For the flaps, see Walts Post below

The boost pump would be fine with a local ground, check your flap wiring diagram and you will notice a local ground is not applicable.
