Broke the top tab on left elevator skin.

Well while I was attempting to bend the tabs on the elevator skin and while setting it with the rivet gun..... It slipped and creased the top tab. This in turn caused a stress tear. I had to remove the tab because the tear was along the crease. Not sure what I can do if anything. I'm hoping that I can come up with a solution. Any thoughts? In the mean time I need to figure out how to post photos because I know its hard to imagine without a photo.

Do you mean the tabs on the elevator to the ob of the trim tab? If so, you could cut both of them off and rivet in a little rib to close it up.
