Sensenich prop bolt washers?

I had an A&P stop by my hangar a few weeks back and he noticed that the washers on my prop bolts were not sitting perfectly flat because of a 1/16" interference with the front spinner mount plate. Is this an issue? Should I use smaller diameter washers or grind the edge of the ones I have now?

Use smaller ones...the ones that Van's provides are too large diameter. The ones that came with the bolts are perfect...

Had the same issue with my 7a 0-360 fixed pitch. Vans told me to use the larger washers and grind a little off the edge so they sit flat.
