Garmin 2020 fix for D-180

I received a brochure from Garmin a couple of weeks ago. They suggest using a GDL 84 and a flight Stream 110 for use with a GTX 327 and an Ipad to have ADSB in/out.
They also were offering a $200 saving for a limited time.
Anyone else get this brochure?

That looks like an awfully expensive solution to me, even after the $200 off.

I'm waiting to see what else becomes available. If I felt compelled to buy something now (which I don't, thank heaven) I'd order a Navworx box that will do the same thing for a couple grand less.

In the mean time I'll go with a Stratux box to get "in" and worry about "out" later.
 
Check the April AOPA Pilot magazine page 106. It says the GTX 345 is 1.25" longer than the GTX327, so even though the height is good you would need a new mounting tray and I'm not sure the depth clearance exists to install a 345 in the place of a 327 in our aircraft.
 
It will fit

I've just installed a Garmin 420 (430 without VOR/GS receiver) which is approx 2.25" longer than the 327. Another option is the Lynx NGT9000. Same concept as the 345 and price has just come down.
