Mounting Location of ELT RV-14

I am trying to figure out the best location for mounting the ELT on an RV-14 build. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

The stock position is in the tail cone, just forward the front spar of the horizontal stab. The supplied wiring harness works for this location.

The plans have it on the tail cone below the vertical stabilizer. The antenna is in the baggage compartment.

I brought mine forward and mounted under the passenger seats. The mounting was easy enough. This was to help with the possible CG issue.
