Its almost official

Well it is almost official, I am flying out on Sunday to look/purchase an RV-7A that is based out of Bloomington, IL (KBMI). After a lot of looking and comparison, my wife and I have decided on this one. I am planning on flying back via Atlanta, GA (KPDK) on my way back to FL to visit a friend and was wondering if there is anything I should be planning besides the normal flight planning. My flight plan shows the distance to be around 453 nm on that leg. I thinking about stopping half way to get fuel just to be on the safe side and to stretch my legs but she should make it non stop if need be, right.

Any information would be help full and looking forward to making it official into the RV family.
