I have seen the products from Aircraft Door Seals at shows, and they have an RV-6/7 tip-up kit available. Their claim is that the seals conform to the opening that they are "squished" (technical term) into. My question is ... does anyone have experience with the product? I've read numerous threads on how to seal tip-up canopies and experiences range from "no big deal" to "never could get it to seal well". I'd prefer to end up with the "no big deal" sort of experience.
I'm happy to experiment with various solutions until I get the problem solved. But if there is a better starting point than another (i.e. the Aircraft Door Seals products work well) I'd rather cut to the superior solution earlier rather than later.
