Default Breakfast in Bear Valley with Rosie

Rosie and Tuppergal are currently our gracious hosts at Rosamond, and we are having a wonderful. visit. This morning we flew to Bear Valley for breakfast (with Rosie, as Tuppergal had other commitments. We hope she can join us next time). Our flight took us across the desert and up to the mountains. It was brrrr cold at Bear Valley, at 6500 feet, with about 30 knots of wind. BUMPY arrival and snow blowing off the mountain. Wonderful company, beautiful flight, and great breakfast at Thelma's, a short walk from the airport. Now... back to finding the warm weather...

Was that Big Bear City/Lake? Looks like a fun trip with quite the change in terrain.

Sure does not look like St.Kitts, Opie and his wingman are headed our way for a Bahamas diversion. Have fun and be safe. Bear

Not far from our cabin at Big Bear - glad you enjoyed the territory!
