Does anyone know if the pins for J1 and J2 on the VPX Pro are high density or not?

They are standard density.

24 gauge

Thanks everyone. Just saved me a few bucks. If I get into 24 gauge wire for any reason (Garmin G3X), can I just "fold" the wire to make a better fit into the pins before crimping?

Appreciate the help!

The K13-1 positioner that I have for the AFM-8 crimper shows that 24 AWG can be crimped with that tool and a D-sub pin, presumably without any "special handling".

The standard D-Sub machined pins are specified for 24 to 20 gauge wire -
