Last week we ordered a number (I think it was 12) of the Dynon Female D-9 connector kits. These were ordered from Dynon (p/n 100831-000). Two of the kits were packaged correctly. Ten of the kits were packaged incorrectly.
The kits contained the correct black plastic housing parts and the correct female crimp contacts. What was incorrect was the kits contained male pin connector shells and not the female shells.
We contacted Dynon and they are going to check their stock and send us the correct female connector kits. I just wanted to alert the group that if you have recently received female 9-pin connector kits you might wand to check and make sure the kits contain the correct parts before you sit down for a connector assembly session.
