We are building 2 12's side by side. Just growing the front fuselages and came across an odd one.
Usually, if a part doesn't fit, we have done something wrong but the F1226-L seat ramp on one fuselage was just not quite there. Swapped parts and the fault went with the part. The holes were about 3/32" out. The forward flange had been folded slightly short.
Called Kathy at Vans who confirmed they had had some issues there and a new one was going in the post that day.
Great service from Vans as always but it also reminds us - sometimes it isn't our fault
