Is there anyway to turn off the "engine monitor" warning that specifically goes along with the stall warning?
I hadn't flown for a few weeks, and although I checked the stall warning during the walk around, about 300' in the air I got repeated stall warning and engine monitor warnings.
I was doing a flaps up take off on 11000' runway and my speed was 75 when it started....it was intermittent and continued for much of the downwind. The false stall warning didn't bother me as much as the "engine monitor" did. I stayed in the pattern and the problem stopped.
I know what a stall warning is. "Engine monitor" warnings should be reserved for something actually engine related imo.
