Wing Tips

I have an RV-4 that I am working. The original kit was purchased in 1993. Previous builder has gone west so I have limited info available.

Can someone tell me if the fiberglass wing tips shown below are the standard RV-4 tips.

I am interested in using the Aeroled combo nav/strobe with the white lights on the wing instead of the tail.

Looks like I need to mold a flat area on the tips to mount the lights.

Anyone done this?

yes, those are early model wingtips. the new style will also fit if you like the look of them better.
