Data load to GTN650 missing Navigation Data

I tried to update the data but the Navigation data is still old. Did I do something wrong. The other items look fine.

I then downloaded that to an SD card using the Garmin app (this is a Mac). I received no errors uploading to the 650, but the Navigation data was not updated.

650 will not load new Nav data until Thursday --

If you have the new nav data downloaded to the SD card, on Thursday, when you power up, you will get the green check mark in upper left corner -- by touching that, you will load the new data --- at least that is the way mine works.

The effectivity date on the Cycle 1906 Navigation Data is in the future (May 23rd).

The GTN will allow you to load a database that has not reached it's effectivity date, but you have to push in on the center knob while powering up with the database card in the GTN.

This information is in the GTN pilot guide, but you have to look for it.

As Steve said, it worked out just fine. I would not normally need to do this but after upgrading the software version the currently loaded database was marked corrupt
