Hi all,
Earlier this year we bought an RV....the motorhome kind...to use for Airventure and other adventures. We've attended the show for over 20 years but have always flown to Milwaukee (we work for an airline), rented a car, and stayed in a house we rented. This will be our first year in the RV; looking for any advice you may have about attending the show in a motorhome. We've stocked it and taken it on test runs so the operating issues have been addressed. I'm more concerned about where to park / stay, and any gotchas I may not see coming. For example, I saw hundreds of campers parked in areas with no hookups, but no generators allowed. How do you keep it cool at night?? And if camp Scholler is full, what are some good options with easy access to the show and that are kid-friendly? I'll have a motorcycle attached for store runs but doubt we'll tow the car this time. Any advice / input is appreciated! Thanks, and we'll see y'all there.
