Are we really meant to use -4 rivets here? Seems like a pretty important component and the shop heads fail both diameter and height.

Just checked and my shop heads meet the min diameter spec by about 3 thou and the min thickness spec by about 8 thou. Thanks Scott!

Minor variations
There can be minor variations in the kit/build and it is quite OK to use a longer rivet to achieve the correct size shop head. I always check that the tail protrusion is adequate i.e. 1.5 times rivet diameter, before setting. And it must not be too long either, to avoid clinching (bending over).
